Ahh.. that 18th century

I absolutely love historical clothing and I love working on historical reconstructions.
I give myself a bit of slack when it concerns doll clothes (I'm not AS strict as in human clothes).
It doesn't mean clothes are in worse quality - no! It means I use materials that would not have been used in period. For example plastic buttons.
I still want my clothes to be top-notch quality, and I use high quality fabrics.
But I finish edges using overlock, even tho it was not available in 18th century ;)

Just recently I made a rococo outfit for SD girls.
I used nice print on cotton with cotton lining for bodice, cotton batiste for petticoat and silk chiffon for overskirt.

Whole set consists of:
☆ flower head decoration
☆ lace shawl
☆ jacket
☆ overskirt
☆ underskirt
☆ pads
☆ flower accessory

And it's available on etsy and ebay!

White and all

This idea was in my head for a long long time.
I remember making a skirt like that years ago, and I wanted to make it again.
I couldn't make a skirt only tho, so I also made a batiste top fastened using lace on the shoulders.

Necklace is not for sale, but it's made by CEJJ.

Set is still available on etsy.

Jewelry

I said before I'm a huge fan of antique gold jewelry. It has this retro/vintage look I enjoy so. It fits most of my own projects perfectly.
And so I decided to start making rings, necklaces, bracelets and so on.
They are all available on my etsy :)

CEJJ and me

Cath is my dear friend and I really like her jewelry work. She is working with bright golden and white colours mostly, it makes her work look very clean and innocent.
One day I asked her to make a necklace for three of my sets (), but in the end we changed the concept: she made pretty necklaces and I made dresses for them  (❁´◡`❁)*✲゚*

CEJJ is up and open on etsy, be sure to check out her work (´・ω・`)

This outfit is available on my etsy!
